ICCVDM 2025 - The 6th International Conference on Computer Vision and Data Mining
Sep 22, 2025

On September 13, 2025, the 6th International Conference on Computer Vision and Data Mining ( ICCVDM 2025 ) was successfully held in the UK. The conference was hosted by Brunel University of London, and supported by Jiangxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Multidimensional Intelligent Perception and Control, Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Changchun University of Science and Technology, University of Salamanca, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, UTM, AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center.

ICCVDM 2025 brings together the world's top scholars, researchers and industry experts to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on cutting-edge technologies, theoretical breakthroughs and innovative applications of computer vision and data mining. The meeting successfully completed the agenda in a warm and cooperative atmosphere and ended at the end of the day.

A very special and heartfelt thank you must go to our Conference General Chair, Prof. Hongying MENG, whose visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and meticulous planning were the foundational pillars of this event. Without his guidance, this gathering would not have been possible.

We were also profoundly inspired by our four distinguished keynote speakers. We journeyed from the mathematical foundations of time-series representations of polynomials with Prof. Asoke K. Nandi, through the evolving landscape of face analysis for security applications with Prof. Liming Chen, and into the future of XR disaster management powered by 5G/6G and data mining with Prof. Jong-Moon Chung, before concluding with a critical look at interpretation and computational efficiency in deep neural networks with Prof. Maozhen Li.

Professor Asoke Nandi, IEEE Fellow, Brunel University of London, UK
Speech Title: Time-series representations of polynomials leading to better understanding and accurate estimations

Keynote Speaker 1 of ICCVDM2025

Professor Liming Chen, University of Lyon, France
Speech Title: The journey of face analysis and recognition for security related applications: progress and challenges

Keynote Speaker 2 of ICCVDM 2025

Professor Jong-Moon Chung, IEEE Fellow, Yonsei University, Korea
Speech Title: XR Disaster Management Systems with 5G & 6G NTN Edge Computing Supported Data Mining Technologies

Keynote Speaker 3 of iccvdm2025

Professor Maozhen Li, Brunel University of London, UK
Speech Title: Interpretation and Computation Efficiency in Deep Neural Networks

Keynote Speaker 4 of ICCVDM2025

These talks perfectly set the stage for our vibrant roundtable on the future trends of AI, chaired by Prof. Hongying MENG, which continued our stimulating discussions.

Roundtable Discussion

In the afternoon oral presentation session, 17 scholars from different countries and regions shared their own research insights. The on-site interactive questions were enthusiastic and the applause continued. This year, we also received 95 posters from different scholars around the world. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the speakers, authors, reviewers, and volunteers who have contributed to the success of this conference.

Oral Presentations

To the nearly 200 scholars from around the globe, your engagement has forged valuable connections and sparked collaborations that will undoubtedly propel our field forward. Thank you for your invaluable contributions. The success of this conference is a testament to our shared passion for advancing knowledge. We look forward to seeing you next year.
