The 2024 3rd International Conference on Geographic Information and Remote Sensing Technology (GIRST 2024), hosted by Roma Tre University and technically supported by The Faringdon Research Centre for Non-Destructive Testing and Remote Sensing, University of West London, Rome Technopole, and BISITE, University of Salamanca, was successfully held in Rome, Italy on November 29-30, 2024. The conference includes keynote speech and oral presentation session. Thanks to the support of experts and scholars!
Prof. Francesco Benedetto from Roma Tre University, the General Chair of the conference, delivered an opening speech and briefly introduced the history and background of GIRST conference and details of submissions of the 2024 edition. The conference consists of Keynote Session, Technical Session, Oral Presentation and Poster Presentation. The Keynote Session started with the 1st keynote speech by Prof. Fabio Tosti from the University of West London.
A total of 12 distinguished experts and outstanding young scholars gave their keynote or invited speeches to share their latest research findings and exchange insights on the development of related disciplines. The guests and participants carried out very forward-looking and in-depth exchanges and discussions in the fields the conference aims to explore. At the end of the conference, the Conference Co-Chair, Prof. Fabio Tosti, made closing remarks for the conference, and the event successfully concluded in a relaxing atmosphere. All the participants have enjoyed an impressive academic feast. Deepest appreciation goes to our honored Chairs and Guests for their significant contributions to GIRST 2024.
