The 2026 7th International Conference on Education, Knowledge and Information Management (ICEKIM 2026) and the 2026 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Management (ICAIDM 2026) successfully concluded after three days of hybrid sessions from 15 to 17 October 2026 at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, UK.
The joint conference was co-organised by Anglia Ruskin University, Northeastern University (China), and the Cambridge Silicon Age Innovation Centre. It brought together researchers, educators, industry professionals and policymakers from around the world to explore pressing interdisciplinary challenges in education, knowledge governance and human-centred artificial intelligence.
The event featured both in-person participation and online sessions via Zoom. The main academic programme took place throughout 16 October (GMT), featuring four keynote speeches, invited presentations, oral presentations, online paper presentations and poster sessions.
Four distinguished scholars delivered keynote speeches, offering perspectives on the evolving relationship between education, knowledge management and digital technologies.
Professor Ali R. Kamali – Northeastern University and the University of Cambridge
Professor John P. O'Regan – University College London
Professor Lynn Martin – Anglia Ruskin University
Professor Nick Drydakis – Anglia Ruskin University and the University of Cambridge
Their contributions provided opportunities for participants to explore emerging research perspectives and exchange ideas on the challenges and opportunities shaping their respective fields.
Researchers from different countries presented a wide range of findings through invited talks, oral presentations, online presentations and poster sessions.
The research topics covered several emerging areas, including AI ethics education driven by large language models, algorithmic risk governance in human–AI collaborative teaching, digital supply chain risk prediction, knowledge graph-based personalised learning, sustainable entrepreneurship and cross-cultural information analysis.
These presentations demonstrated the breadth of current research at the intersection of education, knowledge management and artificial intelligence, while encouraging dialogue across disciplines and research communities.

Beyond the academic sessions, participants engaged in group photography, coffee breaks and networking lunches. These activities provided opportunities for informal discussions and helped strengthen connections between research communities in Europe and Asia.
The closing remarks and conference awards ceremony took place on the afternoon of 16 October, recognising the contributions of presentation authors and poster presenters.

On the final day, 17 October, participants took part in academic and cultural activities arranged by the organisers in Cambridge.
The programme included a visit to Trinity College, including the Newton's Apple Tree, as well as a traditional punting experience along the River Cam. These activities combined academic reflection with opportunities to explore Cambridge's rich scientific and cultural heritage.

The joint conference provided an international forum for discussing ethical frameworks, educational transformation and the governance of intelligent systems amid rapid digitalisation.
By bringing together researchers and professionals from diverse backgrounds, ICEKIM 2026 and ICAIDM 2026 supported cross-disciplinary dialogue and laid a foundation for future international research collaboration in education, knowledge management and responsible AI governance.
The organising teams look forward to welcoming researchers from around the world to future editions of ICEKIM and ICAIDM.
