2026 International Conference on Ship Power and Intelligent Manufacturing (SPIM 2026) will be held in Qingdao from November 27 to November 29, 2026. The conference aims to present cutting-edge research and practical applications at the intersection of ship power innovation and smart manufacturing technologies.
Against the backdrop of global shipping's green transition and carbon goals, the integration of advanced ship power systems and smart manufacturing has become increasingly crucial. Key topics include new energy power systems for ships, intelligent vessel control, digital shipbuilding, energy-saving and emission reduction in ship power, and smart ship maintenance.
SPIM 2026 will bring together academic and industrial experts to address key technical challenges, share research findings, and foster continuous innovation in building a green and intelligent modern shipping system.

Publication
All papers will be reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published in SAE Technical Papers (ISSN: 0148-7191) and submitted toEI Compendex and Scopus for indexing.
Note: All submitted articles should report original research results, experimental or theoretical, not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtue of any academics. Hence, any act of plagiarism or other misconduct is totally unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.

* If your paper is accepted by committee and you registered for the conference, a 30% processing fee will be deducted if a retraction is requested.
Details of The Registration Fees:
1. At least one author for each accepted final paper must pre-register.
2. The registration fee does not include: Accommodation, Visa application fee, Transportation fare.
3. The paid registration fee cannot be refunded if you cannot attend the conference, but substitute participants are welcome.
4. Students must provide proof of their status by suitable document to the conference secretariat.
5. This conference has set a fixed exchange rate of 100 RMB to 15 USD, please select the payment method and currency that best suits your actual situation.
Refunds Policy: If the participants request cancellation and refund due to personal reasons, the following refund policy applies.
- 60 days ahead of the conference: 70% of payment refund
- 30โ60 days ahead of the conference: 50% of payment refund
- Within 30 days ahead of the conference: 30% of payment refund
- After conference: no refund
Cancellation and refund request must be made formally by email. The organizing committees reserves the right to change the dates and place of the conference due to force majeure. Losses thus incurred from the force majeure events shall not be liable and refunds policy shall not apply as well.
