About LESD 2026
The 2nd International Conference on Low-carbon Economy and Sustainable Development (LESD 2026) will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2026.
To foster a truly global exchange of ideas, this year's conference will adopt a dual-venue format: the main domestic sessions will take place in Guangzhou, China, while a special international branch will be hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This premier event aims to bring together global stakeholders—researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators—to deepen the dialogue on carbon neutrality transformation and consolidate practical outcomes in global sustainable development.
As a comprehensive platform for cross-disciplinary collaboration, LESD 2026 is dedicated to addressing the world's most pressing environmental challenges. The conference will feature high-level keynote speeches, rigorous technical sessions, interactive panel discussions, and academic poster presentations. We will focus on the latest advancements in low-carbon technologies, energy transition, sustainable governance, and smart urban systems. By bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical application, the event endeavors to drive the global transition towards a greener, circular economy. We highly encourage submissions that showcase innovative methodologies, empirical studies, and transformative policy frameworks.

Publication and Submission
All papers submitted to LESD 2026 will be peer-reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings, and submitted to Scopus and CNKI for indexing.
Paper Submission Guidelines:
- The paper should have academic or practical value, and must not have been published in academic journals or conferences globally.
- Authors publishing the paper must submit the full text for peer review. Authors wishing only to present without publication need only submit the title and abstract.
- Authors must check for plagiarism (via CrossCheck, iThenticate, etc.) at their own expense prior to submission. Rejections due to high repetition rates are the author's responsibility.
- The full paper should not be less than 4 pages.

- The conference only accepts English manuscripts.

Participation Guidelines
- Author Participation: One accepted article covers the free attendance of one author. Co-authors may register separately.
- Keynote Speaker: Experts are welcome to apply for a keynote speech, subject to review by the organizing committee.
- Oral Presentation: Authors can apply for a 10-15 minute oral presentation session.
- Poster Display: Apply to display your research poster (A1 size required).
- Listener / Audience: Participants without submissions are warmly welcomed to attend, join discussions, and view presentations.

Notes:
1. At least one author for each accepted final paper must pre-register.
2. The registration fee does not cover accommodation, visa application fees, or transportation.
3. A 30% processing fee will be charged for any paper withdrawals made for personal reasons after registration.
Refund Policy
If a participant requests cancellation and refund due to personal reasons, the following refund policy applies:
- 60+ days ahead of the conference: 70% refund
- 30-60 days ahead of the conference: 50% refund
- Within 30 days of the conference: 30% refund
- After conference: No refund
* Cancellation and refund requests must be made formally by email.
* The organizing committee reserves the right to change the dates or venue due to force majeure. Losses incurred from such events are not liable, and the standard refund policy shall not apply.
