The 12th International Conference on Hydraulic and Civil Engineering & the Silk Road International Forum on Deep Underground Energy Storage and Underground Space Development

1. Introduction

The 12th International Conference on Hydraulic and Civil Engineering and the Silk Road International Deep Energy Storage and Underground Space Development Forum are jointly organized by Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology and the Shaanxi Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, among other institutions. The theme of the conference is “Intelligent Construction in Engineering.”

With the accelerated integration of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, intelligent construction has become a core engine driving high-quality development in the engineering industry. To explore the innovative applications of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data, and robotics in engineering design, construction, and operation and maintenance management, we sincerely invite you to participate in the conference.

The conference will bring together top scholars, corporate leaders, and technological pioneers from both domestic and international backgrounds to share the latest research findings, exemplary practice cases, and future development trends, creating a high-end platform for cross-disciplinary exchange and collaborative innovation.

Final submission deadline: October 2, 2026.

All submitted papers must be reviewed by 2-3 committee experts. Accepted papers will be published by Springer and submitted for indexing in EI Compendex and Scopus. Please refer to the conference website for the EI paper template.

5. Participation

Author Participation: One accepted paper allows one author to attend the conference for free and deliver an oral presentation.
Invited Guests: The organizing committee invites domestic and international academicians and well-known experts to deliver keynote speeches.
Oral Presentation: Apply for an oral presentation, with a duration of 15 minutes.
Poster Presentation: Apply for a poster presentation, A1 size, color printed.
Audience Participation: Attendees who do not submit a paper can still register for the conference and may also apply for presentations and displays.
