Conference Introduction
The 2026 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Development and Energy Resources (SDER 2026) will be held grandly in Guangzhou, China, from August 7th to 9th, 2026. The conference aims to bring together global academics and industry leaders to discuss the latest research achievements and cutting-edge technologies in sustainable development and energy resources. It serves as a platform to promote interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration, advancing green energy transition and ecological civilization construction.
As a major economic hub in southern China, Guangzhou has been actively implementing the concept of green development and is committed to becoming a modern international metropolis as well as a national demonstration zone for green energy. Current municipal policies focus on promoting clean energy utilization and constructing a low-carbon transportation system, striving to achieve peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality by 2035. Guangzhou is accelerating the layout of new energy industries, vigorously developing renewable energy sources such as wind and photovoltaic power, promoting smart grids and energy internet construction to enhance energy efficiency. At the same time, the city enforces green building standards and industrial pollution control to build an environmentally friendly urban space and accelerate the application of green and low-carbon technologies.
SDER 2026 will focus on frontier topics including renewable energy technology innovation, energy storage and conversion, environmental protection and resource recycling, and carbon reduction pathways and policies. Renowned experts and industry representatives from home and abroad will be invited for in-depth exchanges. Publication
All papers will be reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) (ISSN: 1742-6596), which will be submitted for EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.
